About SBST

The School of Bio Sciences and Technology consists of four departments namely Biotechnology, Integrative Biology, Bio-Sciences and Bio-Medical Sciences headed by well-trained professors. The school offers an undergraduate (B.Tech. Biotechnology) and six Postgraduate (M.Sc. and M. Tech.) program. It also offers Integrated Ph.D. and Ph.D. program. The priority of the SBST is developing entrepreneurship skills and mentoring students to become future scientists for the improvement of humanity. Our efforts are strengthened by collaboration with national, international Universities and multinational companies. Consultancy research and commercialization of products at the University are undertaken as a part of the program. The school houses excellent infrastructure and well-trained faculty members which makes SBST one among the top ten Bio School in the country.

About ABAP

The Association of Biotechnology and Pharmacy (ABAP) was established in the year 2007 for the development of science in the fields of Biotechnology and Pharmacy. The main objective of ABAP is to form a forum for scientists so as to bring them together to discuss and find scientific solutions to the contemporary issues on these two important areas. The annual meetings of ABAP help the members to interact, induct young aspirants, exchange the knowledge, explore the future research needs, solve the local issues and publish their findings. The association organizes symposia, seminars and workshop on current developments of Biotechnology and Pharmacy, particularly on the subject of current scientific interest in Schools and Universities across India. In view of the vast development in the dissemination of research work, an international journal of Current Trends in Biotechnology and Pharmacy was started by ABAP (ISSN: 0973 8916 –Print; 22307303-online). And every year the ABAP announces Life time awards in Biotechnology, Pharmacy and Industrial Biotechnology areas.


International Conference on Recent Advances in Biotechnology and Environmental Science (ICRABES22) themes are framed based on the United Nations 2030 agenda. This agenda has put forward 17 sustainable developmental goals (SDG’s) and its respective 169 targets. All these together will result in equilibrium in three different dimensions (1. Environmental, 2. Economic and 3. Social) of an individual. Sustainable developmental goals are framed in a way that it takes into consideration of each and every individual on this planet, has the right to lead a healthy life with all the necessary amenities wherein she/he could utilise her/his full potential to serve herself/himself, to the society and to the world as a whole.

  • Under each scientific theme abstracts are invited through online submission in MS word format - Font "Times New Roman", size "12" with line spacing "1.5" and abstract should not exceed 300 words.
  • Under each theme 3 awards will be given to best poster presentations.
