- The medium of the poster can be either in English or Tamil
- Posters will be evaluated based on scientific content, innovative ideas/solutions and presentation

• This is an individual event
• The debate will be conducted in English and Tamil
• Students can participate in either an English or a Tamil debate
• 2 minutes duration for the participant to speak for/against the topic
• The second round will be conducted for the shortlisted participants from the first round
• For the second round, the topics will be given on the spot

General Instructions
- All events are applicable for Category I (9th & 10th) and Category II (11th & 12th)
- Decisions by the judges are final
- Participants should come with their teachers and in their school uniform
- Accommodation will be provided at nominal charges for students coming beyond 80 km from VIT upon prior request
- Separate accommodation for boys and girls
- Students should report before 8.00 AM on January 31, 2026
Registration
- Registration fee per participant is Rs. 150 (Inc. GST)
- Registration and payment details can be found in the link https://events.vit.ac.in/
- Registration fee includes programme kit, refreshments, lunch and participation certificate
- Only registered participants are allowed to participate in the contest.
- No spot registration
