ABOUT THE VIT MATHEMATICAL MEET-2026 (VITMM-2026)

Every year, the Department of Mathematics, School of Advanced Sciences, VIT, Vellore, organizes the VIT Mathematical Meet, a distinguished national competition for schoolchildren. The goal of this program is to encourage mathematical innovation and originality in young people at the school level. The department enthusiastically announce the 30th Annual Celebration of the VIT Mathematics Association, the VIT Mathematical Meet 2026. It will take place at VIT, Vellore on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
As the basis for many disciplines, including science, engineering, technology, physics, chemistry, biology, business, management, economics, and the social sciences, mathematics is essential. Since it is the only field in which knowledge accumulates gradually, it is crucial for advanced education. Participants will get the chance to apply their knowledge, overcome obstacles, and hone their competitive abilities in this event. Furthermore, the competition will teach pupils how to successfully handle pressure, which is a necessary component of any worthwhile endeavour in life. The purpose of this meet is to encourage kids to cultivate a lifelong love of mathematics and provide worthwhile intellectual and social experiences.

We invite a team of students accompanied by a teacher advisor(s) / staff incharge( s) / parent(s) from all schools to participate in the VIT Mathematical Meet - 2026 and request you to experience a Great Day with us in VIT, Vellore.
