Students Feedback Analysis

The students represented their concern about the soft skills courses which are common to
Engineering branches and not specific to Architecture. Attempt has been made to revamp the
syllabus of soft skills courses more specific to Architecture

Students wanted the teaching of courses to be more practical. More of hands on workshop were
arranged for studio subjects

Students represented their concern on library reference. Since in 2020 the courses were
conducted online from March, students had the problem of library reference. Faculty on campus
were advised to do library study and share the contents to students.

Faculty Feedback Analysis

Faculty expressed their concern on updating the present Architecture Syllabus. The new courses

like Introduction to computation Design, Digital Technologies and 3D printing has been added in
2021 curriculum. Programme elective courses has been identified from various Schools of VIT to
make the course more multidisciplinary

Alumni Feedback Analysis

The inputs given by Alumni for the revision of Curriculum were need of practical based learning,
address of real world problems, subjects to Understanding site work and learning about
managing firms, more emphasis on Architecture Software skills. All the suggestions given were
incorporated in the new curriculum by adding as new subjects as well as improving the contents
of existing subjects.

New collaborations were made with International and national university to give the exposure of
latest trends in Architecture happening around the world
