Ayudha Pooja Celebrations
Ayudha pooja is performed to recognize and honour the utility of things in our life and is
an essential part of the nine days Navratri festival of India. It is considered a meaningful
custom, which focuses on paying respect to one's profession and its related tools and connotes
that a divine force is working behind it and makes us perform well and obtain rewards. This

year Pooja was celebrated on the 4 of October, 2019. Management, faculty, staff and students
participated in the ceremony piously. The pooja began with the lighting of the lamp by the
Pro-Vice Chancellor followed by Registrar and hostel administrators. To add on to the pious
environment, artistic devotional classical dance was performed by guest performer, Ms. Shriya
Shivani, followed by hymns by students. Prasad was distributed to all the participants.
