The Automotive Research Center (ARC) is established with funding from Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the FIST scheme. The centre has the state of the art technology to carryout research in the area of automobile engineering. Bachelor and Post graduate programmes in Automotive Technology are offered with the partnership from ARAI, Pune. As a multidisciplinary centre, ARC is being recognised for its research in IC engines, alternate fuels and fuel characterization, combustion system development, tribology, automotive NVH, hybrid & electric vehicle, automotive component design, analysis and prototype development.
