About the webinar:
The 3D bioprinting (3DBP) technology is revolutionizing the tissue engineering sector by providing flexibility, complexity and other various design options which the scientists had never thought about earlier. 3DBP along with induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) technology has given a huge push towards personalized on-demand biomaterials, where-in patients’ defective organ can be imaged, processed and fed into 3D bioprinter to make highly suitable organ mimics. Though this technology looks very promising, there are lots of challenges associated with this. Some of the few technical challenges associated include 3D model design, bio-ink optimization and finally 3D bioprinting parameter optimization. In this workshop, we would like to introduce the participants of the recent advances and challenges associated with 3DBP technologies. The workshop focus on three different fronts: Advances in the 3D bioprinting technologies, Strategies towards the optimization of bio-inks, 3D modelling software and optimization of 3D bioprinting process parameters. We have also arranged one keynote lecture by a highly renowned researcher in this field.
