Project Description

In this project we aim to study the light matter coupling between plasmonic nanoparticles and hBN based 2D materials. The fundamental interactions between quantum excitations such as plasmons, excitons, phonons will be studied using Raman scattering measurements

We plan to study the sample at monolayer level of 2D materials. It has lot of applications both in energy generations (such as green-hydrogen, photovoltaics), energy storage (supercapacitors, batteries) and quantum technologies such quantum memory devices, and single photon sources, and integrated quantum photonics
