ABOUT VIT

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is a private deemed university and an Institute of Eminence located in the city of Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. Founded in 1984, as Vellore Engineering College, by Dr G. Viswanathan, the institution offers 20 undergraduate, 34 postgraduate, four integrated and four research programs. It has campuses in Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Amaravati. VIT was established with the aim of providing quality higher education on par with international standards. The campuses have a cosmopolitan culture and house over 80k students across the 4 campuses, out of which the Vellore campus is home to about 40k students.

VIT Business School (VITBS), established in September 1994, is in its Silver Jubilee plus Year. We have campuses at Vellore and Chennai. VIT Business School endeavours to develop thought-leaders, who are innovative, socially sensitive, ethically strong and globally competent. VITBS is a fully digitised B-school that facilitates research and learning with relevant e-learning resources from Harvard Business School Publishing, exhaustive access of journals, databases such as EBSCO, ABI infom, CMIE prowess, and CAPEX; and, many software and tools.

Description	Tasks shall be assigned to every participants, a preparation time of 5 minutes shall be allotted for every round. The participants shall be filtered after every round. The final winner shall be chosen between the 3 finalists for the best strategy explanation.

Description	Treasure Hunt is basically a fun game which involves knowledge and thinking skills. The game is "Find The Brand?", wherein you will be given certain number of clue cards with which you should use your knowledge and thinking skills to exactly find out what the brand is. So, this event not only involves fun but also enhances your thinking skills. So, better be aware of "BRANDS".

Description	Ad Zap is a fun event to play with brands and their ads. The teams shall be shortlisted to the final round based on the marks from the previous round. The final round will be an on-spot enactment for the problem given. The winning team shall be chosen by the judges. Note: The performance in the final round must adhere to the guidelines

Description	HR Talkies consists of 3 rounds - 1 picture interpretation and 2 case studies. The participants are challenged to come up with the best solutions for the given business related problems within the time limit to assess the participant's management skills.

Description	Photographers are told to shoot the product and get creative and show the world what the product is from the eye of ghe camera and the photographer.

Description	Shipwreck is basically a debate competition. There's a common scenario here: You're a character (which the judging panel gives you) stuck on a sinking ship. In the competition, the two participants will have to choose a role of their choice, the opponent will get the opposite role. It can be any fictional character. So, the ship is sinking and the captain can save only one of them. So, both of them have to fight for their character as to why do they deserve to be saved.
