VITEEE-2020 Application form Sale Begins

VIT Chancellor Dr. G. Viswanathan launched the sale of application at Vellore Head Post Office

The sale of printed application forms for VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE-2020) for B.Tech Programmes was launched by Founder-Chancellor of VIT, Dr. G. Viswanathan at the Head Post Office, Vellore on Friday, the 8th November 2019.

VIT Vice President Dr.Sekar Viswanathan, VIT Executive Director Dr. Sandhya Pentareddy, VIT Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr.S.Narayanan, Dr. G. Kalaichelvan, Director (UG Admission), Mr.Komal Kumar, Superintendent of Post Offices, Vellore Division, Mr. G. Srinivasan, Senior Postmaster, Vellore HO, Mr. N. Rajagopalan, Assistant Superintendent of Post Offices, Mr. S. Selvakumar, Public Relations Inspector (Posts), Vellore Fort SO and Mr. D. Sivalingam, Public Relations Inspector (Posts), Vellore Fort SO participated in the event.

A valid VITEEE rank is mandatory for admission to B.Tech. programmes offered in VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT- AP and VIT-Bhopal. VITEEE will be held from April 13th to April 19th 2020 as Computer Based Test in 120 cities in India as well in Dubai, Kuwait, Muscat and Qatar.

VIT offers diverse and innovative engineering programmes. At VIT Vellore, B.Tech programmes in Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), CSE (Bioinformatics), CSE (Information Security), CSE (IoT), CSE (Business Systems in collaboration with TCS), CSE (Data Science), CSE (Block Chain Technology), Electronics and Communication Engineering (EC), Electrical and Electronics Engineering,  Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, ECE (Biomedical Engineering), Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering are offered.

In VIT Chennai, B.Tech. programmes in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Fashion Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering Mechanical Engineering, CSE (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), CSE (Cyber Physical Systems), CSE (Artificial Intelligence and Robotics), Mechatronics and Automation, CSE (Cyber Security) are offered.

VIT-AP offers  Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering CSE (Data Analytics), CSE (Networking and Security), CSE (Artificial Intelligence), CSE (Embedded Systems), ECE (VLSI), CSE (Robotics), CSE (Business Systems).

At VIT – Bhopal, B.Tech. programmes in Bioengineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, CSE (AI & Machine Learning), CSE (Gaming Technology), CSE (Cyber Security & Digital Forensics), ECE (Artificial Intelligence and Cybernetics), Mechanical Engineering with specialisation in Gamification are offered.

The application forms for VITEEE 2020 can be obtained by providing a demand draft for Rs.1250/= drawn in favour of Vellore Institute of Technology, payable at the respective campus or by cash payment at selected twenty two post offices across the country. The last date for applying is 29th February 2020. Further details may be obtained in VIT website www.vit.ac.in.
