- A maximum of 2 students per team
- Original content - No printouts allowed
- Can be a combination of artwork, crafts and text (not mandatory)
- Posters should be prepared beforehand
- Medium of the poster can be either in English or Tamil
- Posters will be evaluated based on scientific content, innovative ideas, solutions and presentation

Debate
This is an individual event
- Debate will be conducted in English and Tamil
- Students can participate in either English or Tamil debate
- 2 minutes duration for each participant to speak either for/against the topic.
- Second round will be conducted for the shortlisted participants from the first round.
- For the second round, the topics will be given on the spot.

- Genetically modified crops are beneficial or harmful
- Will technology make people smarter?
- Is artificial intelligence a threat to humans?
- Can people save nature using technology (or destroy it)?
- Science portrayed in movies is awareness or an exaggeration?

General Instructions
All events are applicable for Category 1 (9th & 10th) and Category 2 (11th & 12th).
Decisions by the judges are final.
Participants should come with their teachers and in school uniform.
Accommodation will be provided at nominal charges for students coming beyond 80 km from VIT upon prior request.
Separate accommodation for boys and girls.
Students should report before 8.00 AM on 20th Jan, 2024.

Registration fee per participant is Rs. 150 (incl. GST)

Only registered participants are allowed to participate in the contest.
No spot registration allowed.
