About VIT


VIT was founded in 1984 as Vellore  Engineering College by our  chancellor Dr. G. Viswanathan. The institution has grown exponentially to that of having more than 33,000 students. VIT now has 1200+ international students from across 50+ countries with different nationalities represented within VIT's student body, which includes students from every state in India. In 2001, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) of the Government of India designated the institution as a "Deemed University" for its outstanding scholastic, research, and extracurricular programs. There are currently five campuses of VIT, located in Vellore, Chennai, Amaravati (AP), Bangalore and Bhopal (MP). VIT adopts eco-friendly and green initiatives to promote sustainable practices in its lush and verdant campus. A few remarkable efforts include energy conservation, water conservation and wastewater recycling.








About SENSE


The School of Electronics Engineering (SENSE) at VIT was established to impart state-of-the-art knowledge in Electronics and Communication Engineering and allied areas. B.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. Eligible students are placed on campus, and many of them are placed in core companies every year. The school has set up laboratories with excellent infrastructure in the areas of Electronics, Communication, Biomedical Engineering, Robotics, VLSI, Embedded systems, Sensors, and Nanotechnology. The latest simulation tools are used to cater to various specializations and are equipped with facilities for measurement, characterization, and analysis of experimental and theoretical results. The school has industry sponsored advanced laboratories for research and development. MoUs with foreign universities, research organisations, and industries facilitate student and faculty exchange. Faculty are actively involved in R&D activities and are working on research projects funded by government agencies like DRDO, ISRO (RESPOND), BRNS, and agencies like DST.




About HKA

The University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe (HKA) is one of the largest and most prestigious universities of applied sciences in the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It offers both academic and professional higher education study programs in engineering sciences, natural sciences, and business. It has about 8,000 students and 200 professors, as well as numerous lecturers and staff members.HKA is known for its high-quality teaching, research, and innovation, as well as its strong international orientation and cooperation. It is part of the European University INGENIUM, a network of ten universities from eight countries that aims to foster interdisciplinary and intercultural learning and mobility. It also has partnerships with over 100 universities and institutions around the world, offering exchange programs, dual degrees, and joint projects.



The faculty of Electrical Engineering & Information Technology offers degree which is future-oriented program that covers current topics such as environmental protection, robotics, emobility, smart grids, digitalisation, Industry 4.0, renewable energies, software development, and networked mobility. The program offers both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree, as well as an English-language Master’s program in Sensor Systems Technology. The program aims to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to design, develop, and implement electronic devices, systems, and solutions for various applications and challenges. Students can choose from six specializations after two semesters: Industrial Automation, Electromobility and Autonomous Systems, Power Engineering and Renewable Energy, Information Technology, Sensor Technology, Environmental Instrumentation.
