About SENSE

The School of Electronics Engineering (SENSE) at VIT was established to impart state-of-the-art knowledge in Electronics and Communication Engineering and allied areas. B.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. Eligible students are placed on campus, and many of them are placed in core companies every year. The school has set up laboratories with excellent infrastructure in the areas of Electronics, Communication, Biomedical Engineering, Robotics, VLSI, Embedded systems, Sensors, and Nanotechnology. The latest simulation tools are used to cater to various specializations and are equipped with facilities for measurement, characterization, and analysis of experimental and theoretical results. The school has industry sponsored advanced laboratories for research and development. MoUs with foreign universities, research organisations, and industries facilitate student and faculty exchange. Faculty are actively involved in R&D activities and are working on research projects funded by government agencies like DRDO, ISRO (RESPOND), BRNS, and agencies like DST.





About Industry-Academia Conclave 2025

The School of Electronics Engineering at VIT is proud to host the prestigious Industry-Academia Conclave 2025, a dynamic forum designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange between academia and industry. This landmark event brings together all four specialized departments—Communication Engineering, Embedded Technology, Micro & Nanoelectronics (VLSI), and Sensor & Biomedical Technology—in a joint effort to showcase cutting-edge advancements and forge impactful partnerships.

Over the course of the conclave, attendees can explore a wide range of opportunities/ events including hands-on workshops, immersive training sessions, technical talks by leading industry experts, panel discussions with thought leaders, and a highly anticipated Hack-a-thon.
