creating a collaborative platform to explore emerging trends and future-ready solutions. With sessions
spanning AI and ML applications in electrical systems, e-mobility and smart grid integration, Industry 4.0
paradigms, VIT's entrepreneurial ventures, quantum computing breakthroughs, and drone-based technologies,
the event will showcase how interdisciplinary innovation is reshaping the electrical domain.
Participants will gain insights into cutting-edge research, real-world implementations, and startup
success stories, while engaging with thought leaders, technologists, and academic pioneers. The conclave
encourages knowledge exchange, networking, and strategic partnerships that can accelerate the translation
of ideas into impactful technologies. By bridging the gap between theoretical exploration and industrial
application, this event seeks to empower students, researchers, and professionals to co-create the future
of electrical engineering.

Vellore Institute of Technology
Vellore Institute of Technology was founded in 1984 as Vellore Engineering College by the honorable chancellor Dr. G. Viswanathan. The institution has grown steadily since its humble beginning. School of Electrical Engineering [SELECT]
The School of Electrical Engineering (SELECT) at VIT has over 98 highly
qualified faculty members with UG, PG, and Doctoral degrees from top-tier universities. The school offers
B.Tech. (Electrical and Electronics Engineering), B.Tech. (Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering),
M.Tech. (Power Electronics and Drives), M.Tech. (Control and Automation), Ph.D., and Integrated Ph.D.
programmes. These programmes attract talented students from across India and abroad. The B.Tech.
Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and B.Tech. Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE)
programmes are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, while all UG and PG
programmes are accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), U.K. Additionally, the
UG programmes in EEE and EIE have NBA accreditation for six years.
Our school is ranked 142nd in the world and 9th in India in Engineering and Technology by the QS World
University Rankings by Subject 2025. SELECT boasts state-of-the-art laboratories in all major areas of
Electrical, Electronics, and Instrumentation Engineering, along with industry-sponsored advanced labs for
world-class research and consultancy. These facilities provide students with hands-on experience in R&D
activities under the guidance of skilled faculty and industry professionals.

Poster Presentation Call for Students
The School of Electrical Engineering
invites undergraduate and postgraduate students to participate in a Poster Presentation as part of the
Industry–Academia Conclave. Students are encouraged to present innovative ideas that demonstrate
technological advancement, sustainability, and real-world applicability for future engineering
challenges.
Participants may choose topics including but not limited to the following:
- AI for Smart Grids and Power Systems
- Predictive Maintenance using Machine Learning
- Renewable Energy Integration and Smart Energy Management
- Electric Vehicles and Charging Infrastructure
- Smart Sensors and Intelligent Instrumentation
- AI for Industrial Automation and Industry 4.0
- IoT-enabled Energy Monitoring Systems
- Cybersecurity in Power and Control Systems
- Engineering solutions aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Participation Guidelines
Team Size: Maximum of 2 students
Poster Size: A2, Portrait orientation (No hand drawn poster will be accepted)
Poster Content Requirements
The poster should clearly include the following sections:
- Title and Author Information
- Problem Statement
- Industry Relevance
- Proposed Solution / Concept
- Role of AI / Emerging Technologies
- SDG Alignment
- Expected Impact / Benefits
Posters will be evaluated by industry experts and faculty members
