About Pre Conference Workshop

Development and Deployment of Automated Driving Algorithms

The preconference workshop provides a gentle introduction to the Development and Deployment of Automated Driving Algorithms. It is done in Association with MATHWORK Ind Pvt Limited and is intended for intermediate users and those looking for a review. It is designed to give participants a basic understanding of popular toolboxes in Automated Driving field. The workshop consists of interactive lectures and sample MATLAB problems. Hands-on session will help the participants to gain more knowledge in the field. Expert speakers from MATLAB will handle the session.

  • Create and Analyze Virtual scenes for Automated Driving
  • Design Perception algorithms
  • Design Sensor Fusion and Tracking algorithms
  • Integrate controls and vehicle dynamics
  • Deploy algorithms to external targets

Participation fee RS. 500 for all. The participants are eligible to attend FUTURE OF MAKING - Generative Design for Industry 4.0 Pre conference workshop.

Free for VIT Participants, PDCUBE conference participants and INR 100 for external (both workshop).

  • Introduction to the application : Highway Lane Following
    •      •Design Scenario for Highway Lane following : RoadRunner
    •      •Design Perception algorithm : Deep learning
    •      •Design Control Strategy – Model Predictive Controller
  • Integrate and test systems together
  • Deploy to ROS node

Application Engineer at MathWorks, India

  • Abhisek has completed his M.Tech in electrical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, specializing in the area of control systems and robotics, and B.Tech in electrical engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
  • Areas of expertise - Plant modeling and control system design. He has been working with customers to address their challenges in automotive applications, e.g., automated driving, automated riding assistant systems, and calibration through simulation-based approaches. His areas of interest include the study of controls systems, physical modeling, and robotics.
