 Dr. Vamsi Kiran, Founder, Aadya Nutrition raised Startup India Seed capital of Rs 35.00 lakhs
from Atal Incubation Centre- Pondicherry Engineering College Foundation (AIC-PECF) in
February 2023.

 Clowak Innovations, under incubation at VITTBI was one of the Top 20 finalists at the
StartupTenkasi, an event to celebrate ‘Startup Ideas towards building Self-Reliant Rural India’
Organized on the 12 of March 2023

 Dr. Geetha, founder of Uyiriyal Biotech, under incubation at VITTBI was chosen to display her
Millet based products at the Katpadi Railway station under the ‘One Station, One Product’
scheme in the promotion of indigenously developed food products.

 Incubatees, Anup from Ensect Farm and Azam Ali from Unlearners were two of the Top 5 cash
prize winners of the Seed Spark cohort by Stanford Seed.

 Dr. R. Chidambaram, Former Principal Scientific Officer to G.o.I & Former Chairman – Atomic
Energy Commission & Secretary, DAE visited VITTBI and interacted with the incubatees on the
10 of November 2022.

Access Webinar on October 28, 2022 which was attended by 36 Participants, organized by

- How does VITTBI help international startups connect to India?

 VITBI had a stall space at the TiECON 2022 Chennai on the 8 of Oct 2022. About 8 startups

 Dr. A. Balachandran took part in the CII SR Startup Council meeting on 7 December 2022.
 Dr.A.Balachandran was invited as a DST Observer by IIM Vizag’s incubator ‘Field’ for its NIDHI

Accelerator inauguration program held online on 28 Dec’22.

 VITTBI took part in the Tamil Nadu Startups and Incubators meet organized by TANSIM on 2

Aug’22 at Chennai Trade Center. VITTBI took a stall to showcase its offering and 6 of the
incubatees have displayed their products. Dr.A.Balachandran took part in a panel discussion
on Incubators & their services.

 Dr.A.Balachandran received a felicitation from DST for his long years of service in the
incubation ecosystem. This award was presented by Mr.Ajay Chowdhry, Co-founder of HCL on
