Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore proudly presents “Virtual Poster Exhibition 2021” of posters made by our first-year students on the theme, Personal and Social Responsibility during the pandemic situation. The organising team decided on the theme to promote awareness among the students and to advise them to take precautions to fight COVID 19. This poster exhibition shows 6500 posters made by the students of the course, Ethics and Values. These posters portray the artistic abilities of the students along with their social responsibilities. Poster making has been an integral component of the course, Ethics and Values for nearly a decade. Students have drawn posters on various themes in the past such as Prevention of Harassment against Women and Children, Child Abuse and Drug Addiction. The year 2019 marked another important milestone when School of Social and Languages (SSL) organized a record event “Maximum Posters Displayed on Sensible Living” wherein 5723 posters were displayed. Asia Book of Records recognized the event and certified. Best drawn posters are selected every year from every class and students receive certificates and cash prizes.
