About Vellore Institute of Technology

VIT was founded in 1984 as Vellore Engineering College by our chancellor Dr. G. Viswanathan. The institution has grown exponentially to that of having more than 33,000 students. More than 50 different nationalities are represented within VIT's student body, which includes students from every state in India. In 2001, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) of the Government of India designated the institution as a "Deemed University" for its outstanding scholastic, research, and extracurricular programs. There are currently four campuses of VIT, located in Vellore, Chennai, Amaravati (AP), Bangalore and Bhopal (MP). VIT adopts eco-friendly and green initiatives to promote sustainable practices in its lush and verdant campus. A few remarkable efforts include energy conservation, water conservation and waste water recycling. VIT now has 1200+ international students from across 50+ countries.

About EIHE 2024

The conference under the series titled “Conference on Electrochemistry for Industry, Health and Environment, EIHE 2024” is proposed to organize by the CO2 Research and Green Technologies Centre, VIT Vellore https://vit.ac.in/centers/CO2, in collaboration with ISEAC, Mumbai, at VIT University Vellore during Feb 8 to 10, 2024 (http://www.iseac.org.in/). This conference supports young electrochemists and provides a forum for their research. Industrial, HEALTH and environmental researchers are welcome to apply. However, the scope of the conference extends beyond these specific disciplines to include other closely related electrochemistry fields. Electrochemical energy technologies aim to bring together both national and international experts and widen the scope of scientific collaboration. Academia, scientists, engineers, manufacturers, students and customers from all over the world to deliberate upon the challenges and opportunities faced in the areas of excellence related to electrochemistry in the HEALTH energy and environment sectors in the wake of dwindling natural sources and increasing concern over climate change. It provides a premier multidisciplinary platform for the stakeholders to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted towards the development of green and sustainable technology.
