Call for Special Sessions
NEleX 2026 invites researchers and professionals from the Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, and Instrumentation Engineering communities to submit proposals for Special Sessions. Each proposal must focus on a topic relevant to the conference themes and should not overlap with the existing technical tracks. A Special Session must mandatorily include paper presentations and is intended to address current and emerging research and application areas.
The objective of the Special Sessions is to bring together experts in specific domains to foster technical discussions, knowledge exchange, and interactive engagement among participants. In addition to paper presentations, sessions may include panel discussions and interactive forums.
Interested individuals are requested to submit their Special Session proposals by email using the prescribed proposal template.
Special Session Organization
- Approved Special Session organizers are responsible for publicizing the session and attracting a sufficient number of quality paper submissions.
- All papers submitted to Special Sessions will follow the same peer-review process as regular conference papers.
- Special Session Chairs must manage the review process and ensure a minimum of three reviews per paper by selecting qualified reviewers from their professional network.
- Organizers must declare any conflict of interest (e.g., papers authored by themselves or close collaborators) before the review process begins. Such papers will be handled independently by the Conference Chairs through the submission system.
- Each Special Session must have a minimum of 10 accepted papers from at least 5 different institutions.
- If a Special Session receives insufficient papers, accepted papers may be merged into regular technical sessions.
- The Conference Organizing Committee reserves the right to cancel a Special Session if it is weakly organized, while providing guidance where necessary.
- The overall quality of accepted papers will be monitored by the Technical Program Committee Chairs of NEleX 2026.
- The main organizer of each approved Special Session will be granted one complimentary conference registration.
