    We are delighted to initiate a Special Session on "Emerging Advancements in Biomedical Communication, Instrumentation and Sensors” as a part of the IEEE International Conference on Next Generation Electronics (NEleX - 2023). Biomedical instrumentation refers to the application of engineering principles and technology to develop devices, instruments, and systems for use in healthcare and medical research. These instruments are designed to monitor, diagnose, treat, or study biological systems and processes in humans and animals. Biomedical instrumentation encompasses a wide range of tools and equipment, including sensors, imaging devices, surgical instruments, diagnostic equipment, and more. These instruments play a crucial role in advancing medical diagnosis, treatment, and research, ultimately contributing to improved patient care and the understanding of various medical conditions. Biomedical communication is the practice of conveying complex medical and healthcare information to diverse audiences in a clear, accurate, and understandable manner. Biomedical sensors are specialized devices designed to detect and measure specific physiological or biological parameters in the human body or other living organisms.
