Welcome to the Centre for Nanotechnology Research (CNR), Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the “World Nano Congress on Advanced Science and Technology” (WNCST-2021) organized by the Centre for Nanotechnology Research, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India during March 8-13, 2021. It is intended to motive and encourage researchers through a platform for exchanging the state-of-the-art research and development and identify the future demands in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.The manipulation of matter at the atomic and molecular scale in nanotechnology creates materials with extraordinarily novel and unusual properties and is a rapidly escalating domain of research with huge potential to revolutionize the world and our lives. It holds the promise to answer some of the world’s most immediate concerns in energy, electronics, agriculture, environment, information technology and medicine. Particularly, the last few years have witnessed ardent expansion of nanoscience and nanotechnology offering massive opportunities. It is highly interdisciplinary, encompassing all the domains of science and technology.
The centre has a strong relationship with the leading nanotechnology experts both from national and international level. The core strengths of the centre are nanofabrication of flexible devices towards research areas of national priorities such as energy, sensors and healthcare. The centre is equipped with the state of the art research equipment in nanomaterial synthesis, characterization and simulation tools.
The congress will comprise several lectures from renowned speakers across the globe. Overall this congress will give the participants a lot of opportunities to explore, collaborate and discuss on the current and future trends of Nanotechnology.
