Following are some of the specific measures initiated by the
institution to ensure female students’ participation in all
academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities:

Periodical conduct of gender sensitization programs for all
the students, faculty and staff members.
Conduct of special sports promotion programs and facilities
such as exclusive swimming pool and gymnasium for female
students.
Availability of exclusive professional counsellors.
A common room for the female students in all the academic
blocks.
Organizing a workshop on ‘Prevention of Sexual Harassment in
Workplaces’ for all faculty members to create an environment
free of sexual violence, harassment, exploitation and
intimidation.
Availability of lady doctors all the time in the campus
hospital and a lady nurse in every hostel block cluster
More than 3842 CCTV cameras installed for inhabitants,
particularly, women.
More than 48 women security guards have been employed.
