6.4.4. Classrooms and Laboratories

VIT School of Agricultural Innovations and Advanced Learning (VAIAL) is located in Pearl

Research Park (PRP) Block of the Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore Campus. The Vellore
Institute of Technology has a total area of 372 acres. The PRP building is home to VAIAL,

which occupies the fifth and sixth floors with an area of 4101.92 Sq. m. and 4805.98 Sq. ft,

respectively.

Classrooms and seminar halls are equipped with ICT facilities including smart boards, overhead

projectors and Wi-Fi access. In the Central Library, a section is exclusively allotted for
Agriculture and allied subject textbooks and reference books.

The list of laboratories and classrooms is presented below in Table 10.
In addition to the labs in the School, the following labs in the Institute are also utilized for

teaching the B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture students:
1. Renewable energy lab of School of Civil Engineering

2. Mathematics lab of School of Advanced Sciences
3. English language labs of School of Social Sciences and Languages
