Blended Learning

  • Numerous studies have demonstrated that video materials yield better learning outcomes when compare to text-based materials
  • Blended learning is a technique used to enhance the learning experience of students. Through this process, we provide additional materials to students using internet and media technologies alongside conventional classroom activities
  • Students will receive video materials and practice quizzes for each topic in their syllabus, explained by experienced VIT faculty members. These materials will be available to students 24/7, making learning more flexible, accessible, and personalized
  • Blended learning components are supplementary materials provided to students. They do not influence any assessment components at VIT. However, the blended learning process will definitely improve students’ performance in assessments
  • This approach is particularly useful for students who miss classes for any reason, need additional quality materials to learn at their convenience, or slow learners who can replay the videos as many times as needed to understand the concepts. Additionally, if students attend classes with some prior knowledge of the concepts through blended learning, it can lead to more interaction and deeper learning in conventional classrooms
  • This unique model of learning is currently available only at VIT
