Women's Day Celebrations

Based on the initiative of the German lady
named Clara and her friends in the year 1909, a day

dedicated to all working women is celebrated as

Women's Day on 8 March every year across the
world. International Women's Day is celebrated

inviting laudable women and by organizing various
events at VIT. At hostel students are given a special

Women's day dinner commemorating the day.

Students enthusiastically plan to attend the

dinner with friends and leisurely relish the delicious

dinner. They especially enjoy sharing the snaps of their

dinner plates with their family and friends inciting
jealousy. Caterers at hostel love to serve the students

on this day and decorate the dining halls with a warm welcome note. Final year students

especially rejoice this dinner with their buddies and take memorable photographs to last a
life time.

We are all very proud of our incredible budding women at VIT. As the quote

goes,“Here's to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.”
