Admission will be based on the performance in the qualifying examination (10+2).

Qualifying Examination	The final examination of 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or The council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE, New Delhi) or Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized board/university or its equivalent examination NIOS Board and Open schools recognised by JEE Students who have appeared for their standard XII examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate by the notified date

(b) Course-Wise Eligibility

PROGRAMMES	ELIGIBILITY
B.Sc. Computer Science & BCA	A pass with minimum overall aggregate of 70% with Mathematics / Business Mathematics & Statistics / Applied Mathematics as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination mentioned above

In case of applicants belonging to SC/ST community or applicants hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura, 10% relaxation is provided as per the condition, in the qualifying examination mentioned above.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Course Details:

There is NO ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
Admission is through merit and is based on mentioned qualifying examination.
A rank list will be prepared on the basis of 10+2 marks
Shortlisted applicants will be called for counselling (Online / Physical)
The fact that a candidate has been qualified and called for the counselling does not guarantee admission to him / her. This depends upon the candidates rank and the availability of seats.

HOW TO APPLY

Course Details:

Applications must be submitted online via the website:https://vit.ac.in/
Candidates should register with a valid email ID and mobile number, as all correspondence will be communicated through these registered email/mobile number only.
The application cost is Rs.600, and it is non-refundable.

Steps to be followed for online application:

Step1: Register yourself by clicking on "New applicant."

Step2: Verify your registered email address by using the OTP received through registered mobile number from VIT.

Step3: Once OTP is validated, a password will be sent to your registered email address. Keep this email ID and password secure until the admission process is complete.

Step4: Fill out the application form online using Net banking, Debit card, Credit card, or Paytm.

Step5: Pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs.600.

Step6: Upload Age proof certificate and 12^th Mark sheet.

Applicants are required to upload the below mentioned documents on the application portal (based on availability within the time frame)

The results of shortlisted candidates will be announced. Shortlisted candidates will then be invited for online counselling

ONLINE COUNSELLING PROCEDURE

Course Details:

BEING CALLED FOR ONLINE COUNSELLING DOES NOT GUARANTEE A SEAT.
During online counselling, candidates can prioritize their choices.
Seat allotment is based on the candidate's preferences, rank, and seat availability.
Details regarding seat allotment, instructions for admission fee payment, and downloading the allotment letter will be communicated to candidates through the counselling portal.
Provisional admission will be cancelled if the candidate does not meet the eligibility norms.
