ICDMAI Conference
Our Chancellor Dr. G. Viswanathan was conferred Lifetime Achievement Award by the Society for Data Science (S4DS) during the sidelines of the 8th Conference on Data Management, Analytics & Innovation (ICDMAI), hosted by VIT.
A flagship conference of the S4DS, this 3 days conference has over 500 participants from all over the country & abroad. Students & researchers from 134 Indian Universities & 6 International Universities were physically present to brainstorm, analyse & innovate the most happening buzzword in the world - #Data. A record 247 papers were received from 660 authors, out of which 73 papers would be presented over the next 2 days in the areas of #datascience
Dr. Debabrata Das, Director, IIIT Bengaluru, the chief guest delivered a thought provoking speech. Dr. C.P Ramanarayanan, Vice-Chancellor - Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Pune & the General Chair of this conference delivered a special address.
Senior academicians, scientists, researchers & students from VIT and various leading institutions were present during the occasion.
