VIT, Vellore has received the Diamond Rating (Highest rating) from QS I-GAUGE which also provides Gold and Silver Ratings based on Teaching and Research Data. Mr G V Selvam, Vice President, VIT, Vellore, received the QS I-Gauge Diamond Certificate from Honorable Pranab Mukherjee, the former President of India, in the presence of Prof Virander S Chauhan, Chairman of NAAC, Mr Ben Sowter, Director, QS, UK, Ashwin Fernandes, CEO of QS-Era Foundation and Mr. SV Ranganathan, Chairman, QS I-Gauge Advisory Board , held recently in New Delhi, India.

QS has launched India's first Nationwide Higher Education Rating System "QS I-Gauge" in 2018. QS, based in the United Kingdom is a global higher education organisation known for publishing QS World University Rankings-the world’s most popular university ranking system.?
