India Skill Report 2023 by Wheebox, India's leading talent assessment company states that Tamil Nadu is among the top 5 states besides Maharashtra, Karnataka, Delhi NCR, and Andhra Pradesh, where maximum hiring activity is forecasted. Moreover, the report reiterates that Tamil Nadu experiences “the greatest talent espionage”. This implies that a huge opportunity is waiting for the youth of India. Hence, it becomes imperative for India to equip its youth with the required knowledge and employable skills so that they can contribute substantively to the economic growth of the country. The reality is that a large section of the educated youth possesses limited or no job skills. Employability Skills are an integral part of most job roles in the economy today. Keeping this in mind, this workshop is organized with the sole aim to train the youth to be employable for industry 4.0.
