The third edition of TechnoVIT, a three day knowledge and technical festival was held this month at VIT Chennai. Over 3,500 students from 80 colleges participated in over 125 events.

The fest aimed at imparting technical knowledge and disseminating relevant and valuable skills through interactive workshops and practical training, games and competitions. The chief guest of the inaugural function, Dr. M. Sai Baba, Director, Resources Management Group, Professor and Dean (Student Affairs), Homi Bhabha National Institute, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam asked the students to achieve excellence in their pursuit. Guest of honour R. Balakrishnan, Joint General Manager – Head, MEP Services, L&T Construction-Buildings & Factories called upon the next generation engineers to “be creative and be innovative and take India forward”.
