VIT Staff and Students Join 100 percent Voting Campaign

Several students, faculty members and staff of VIT University took part in a signature campaign to achieve 100 per cent voting in the Assembly elections, on Wednesday.




Collector R. Nanthagopal, who is also the District Election Officer, and VIT Chancellor G. Viswanathan inaugurated the campaign. A pledge to exercise one’s voting rights and pave way to high polling percentage was administered on the occasion. SVEEP observer Kanchan Prasad was also present.




The Indian Red Cross Society, Katpadi sub branch conducted a medical camp as a means to promote awareness on achieving 100 per cent voting in the forthcoming Assembly elections. Eye screening and general health check-up was done during the camp.
