VIT Vellore and Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, have signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) at SIAT, China. Prof. Anand A Samuel, Vice Chancellor VIT, Prof. Geetha Manivasagam, Director CBCMT-VIT, Prof. Amit Kumar Jaiswal, CBCMT-VIT, and Dr. Jianping Fan, President, SIAT, attended the MoU signing ceremony. The MoU is intended to facilitate cooperation between the two institutes in areas such as organization of joint academic and scientific activities, development of joint research projects, exchange of faculty and educational cooperation on Master/PhD students. Further both the institutes have agreed upon opening of a Joint Research Lab for 3D printing of human organs.
