VIT has all along been a pioneer in providing quality education. As part of its novel initiative, VIT is now taking a great leap forward in global education by going online.
VITOL (VIT Online Learning Institute) is an initiative of VIT to provide online courses by the subject experts which would be accessible to passionate learners and academicians globally. VIT has implemented world-class virtual studio facility for preparing Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) in Vellore campus.
VIT has taken a big leap in providing the latest learning methodology, by implementing MOOC Studio. The students, irrespective of their region, would be able to access the lecture sessions handled by the eminent academicians for a lifelong learning. One to one interactions have also been made possible by unified communication solutions. There are three studios with world class facilities. Director of UGC’s consortium for Educational Communication, Mr. Jagat Bhushan Nadda & K. Mangala Sunder, chief coordinator, SWAYAM Prabha, IIT Madras have graced the occasion.
