The primers are a short stretch of oligonucleotides that impacts the entire DNA amplification process, both in-vivo and in-vitro. Proper primer designing and quality checking are essential for data analysis.
Real Time PCR is the most sensitive technique with applications in gene expression analysis, cancer phenotyping, detection of mutant genes, quantitative estimation of gene copy measurement etc., The course provides basic concept along with practical session including software handling using Bio-Rad CFX96 Real-Time PCR system.
