- 100% renewable energy pledge
The “True Green” initiatives launched by the institution are designed to promote sustainability and environmental stewardship. These initiatives focus on a wide range of areas, including waste management, water conservation, pollution reduction, and environmental education.

The key components of these initiatives:
-
Waste Management: Emphasizing the 5 Rs’—Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle—to minimize waste, including e-waste management and composting.
-
Water Management: Implementing rainwater harvesting, water-saving devices, and water recycling to conserve water resources.
-
Hygienic Surroundings: Maintaining clean and hygienic campus areas through waste segregation, regular cleaning, and sanitation.
-
Green and Clean Environment: Promoting campus greenery by planting trees, creating green spaces, and encouraging the use of indoor plants.
-
Soil Conservation: Protecting soil from erosion through vegetative cover and sustainable land use practices.
-
Pollution Reduction: Focusing on reducing air and noise pollution, promoting clean energy, and minimizing waste generation.
-
Awareness and Capacity Building: Educating the community about sustainable practices, waste resource management, and environmental conservation.
Overall, these initiatives aim to create a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable environment within our campus, fostering responsible environmental practices among students, faculty members, staff, and the community.
