VIT has signed an MoU with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) to advance collaboration in education, research, and emerging technologies, with a particular focus on the fast-growing semiconductor sector. The MoU introduces the Graduate Pathway Program in Semiconductors with AIT and Taipei Tech, along with initiatives such as joint research and publications, student and faculty exchanges, dual-degree programs, and the establishment of Centres of Excellence in science, engineering, technology, management, and humanities.

As India’s semiconductor sector expands and the demand for skilled talent rises, the AIT–VIT MoU marks a timely step in strengthening research, education, and international cooperation.
