The inaugural session of the 2nd International Conference on Functional Materials for Future Technology (IC-FMFT 2025) was successfully hosted by the Centre for Functional Materials earlier today.
The conference will serve as a vital international platform, gathering researchers, scientists, and technologists from around the globe from November 5-7, 2025. This event is set to facilitate collaboration and thought-provoking discussions on revolutionary material science and emerging technologies. Attendees will explore four major themes: Magnetic Materials and Spintronics, New Materials for Energy, Functional Materials and Devices, and Quantum Materials, all aiming to define the future of functional materials and inspire significant advancements.
The event was graced by the attendance of notable dignitaries. We were honoured to host Dr. K. Ramesha Director, CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), Karaikudi as our Chief Guest, and Dr. Satoru Yoshimura Assistant Dean, Graduate School of Engineering Science, Akita University, Japan, and Dr. M.
