V-SPACE is a strategic mandate established by VIT to bridge the critical gap in India’s semiconductor landscape. While the nation has historically maintained a strong position in front-end design, there remains a pressing need for back-end prototyping, assembly, and engineering expertise to achieve full-stack development.

Functioning as a specialized facilitation unit and a premier Centre of Excellence (CoE) ecosystem, V-SPACE represents a powerful brand for VIT. The center is dedicated to transitioning the academic community from a traditional “Publish-only” culture to a dynamic, forward-thinking “Publish and Patent/Productize” mindset. By serving as an integrated operational interface, V-SPACE seamlessly connects industry partners, faculty, and students across various schools and centers to convert academic innovation into industrial reality.
