The International Hands-on Workshop on “Segmentation using 3D Slicer”, jointly organized by the School of Healthcare Science and Engineering (SHINE) and the Centre for Biomaterials, Cellular, and Molecular Theranostics (CBCMT), was a highly engaging and educational event. It brought together researchers, students, and healthcare professionals eager to explore advanced segmentation techniques in medical imaging.

The workshop featured Dr. N. Varatharajan, a renowned researcher from the Intervention Center, Rikshospitalet, Oslo University Hospital, Oslo, Norway. Dr. Varatharajan’s extensive experience in medical imaging and computational modeling made him an excellent guide for this hands-on session.
