Eligibility
Nationality
The applicant should be a Resident/ Non-Resident Indian National/ OCI/ PIO Holder.
Age Limit
- Applicants born on or after 01.07.2005 are eligible to apply for BBA (2+2) programme for the academic year 2025.
- Applicants must present the Age proof (Birth certificate/ Passport copy) as proof of their age during counselling/admission. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the admission process.
Qualifying Examination
- The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations or any other Board accepted by VIT as equivalent to 10+2 examination.
- Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
- General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
- High School Certificate Examination at Advanced (A) level of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
- Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with minimum of 5 subjects as recognized by central board.
- Applicants who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India should produce an equivalence certificate to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination with grade/CGPA converted to percentage.
- Candidates who have appeared for multiple board examinations in the same academic year are not eligible.
Requirements in the Qualifying Examination
- For First 2 Years (At VIT BS)
- For Next 2 Years (At Binghamton University SOM)
- Minimum 80% in 10th and 12th grades (Mathematics is mandatory in 12th).
- Must clear Personal Interview.
In case of applicants belonging to SC/ST community or applicants hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura, 10% relaxation is provided. Certificate to prove community/ nativity should be produced at the time of counselling, failing which will not be considered for admission.
- Cumulative GPA of at least 8/10 at VIT.
- Proof of English Proficiency as per International Standards.
- Submission of official transcripts and admission application.
Selection Criteria

Admission will be based on the 10th/12th board marks.

Seat allotment is based on the candidate's rank and seat availability.

Information regarding seat allotment, instructions for admission fee payment, and downloading the allotment letter will be communicated to the candidates through the counselling portal.

Provisional admission is subject to cancellation at any point of time if the candidate fails to fulfil the eligibility requirements.

Qualifying and being called for counselling do not guarantee admission. Admission is based on the candidate's rank and seat availability.

Candidates should register with a valid email ID and mobile number, as all correspondence will be communicated through these registered email/mobile number only.

The application cost is Rs.1150, and it is non-refundable.
Steps to be followed for online application
Register yourself by clicking on "Sign Up" (New applicant)
Verify your registered email address by using the OTP received from VIT.
Once OTP is validated, a password will be sent to your registered email address. Keep this email ID and password secure until the admission process is complete.
Fill out the online application form with required information. The list of Boards along with respective code is listed out in the Prospectus. The Board code of study in the qualifying examination should be mentioned accurately. In case of any discrepancy in the board filling on the application form and submission of relevant document at the time of admission will lead to cancellation of admission.
Pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs.1150 using Net banking, Debit card, Credit card, or Paytm.
Upload Age proof certificate, 10th mark sheet, 12th hall ticket and 12th mark sheet.

Fee Structure
- Years 1 & 2 (India): ₹ 2,00,000 per year

Years 3 & 4 (Abroad): Estimated $15,225 per semester (Tuition rates are subject to change per the SUNY Board of Trustees. In addition, other charges may be assessed including International Student Fees and Insurance, etc.).
Additional charges apply for the hostel, travel, and other facilities. Scholarships are available based on academic performance (for candidates scoring above 90% in the 12th Board exam)

- Rank List announcement based on 10th/ 12th board marks.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview.

The candidate should submit the qualifying mark statement from the board studied as mentioned on the application form for verification of genuineness at the time of admission. In case of submission of any fraudulent, incompetent certificate by the applicant will lead to legal action and the admission accorded will be duly cancelled and no refund will be initiated.

Refund of Fees
The policy announced by AICTE / UGC, will be adopted, as and when announced.
Withdrawal Procedure

Candidates can request withdrawal through online.
-
The necessary form for withdrawal/clearances must be obtained to facilitate the withdrawal process.

The withdrawal application date is considered as the date of submitting the clearance form.

Refund will be processed through account transfer to the bank account mentioned in the withdrawal request. Accurate bank account details must be provided.
