We are incredibly proud to announce that two of our student teams secured top podium finishes at the prestigious SEMICON India Hackathon 2026, held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi! Out of 3,808 participating teams nationwide, our students made it through an intense evaluation process to take home major accolades.

Team Bhoochadae claimed the top spot along with a cash prize of ₹1,25,000 for their cutting-edge solution on “Drift-Sense: AI-Powered Navigation-Error Recovery for Wafer Inspection Tools”. Team ForgeX / Highest in the Room earned the Runner-Up title and ₹75,000 for their solution on “AI-Based Restoration of Degraded Images for Semiconductor Inspection”.

The awards were presented during the grand valedictory ceremony in the presence of key industry leaders from MeitY, SEMI, Applied Materials, and KLA, along with our Vice-Chancellor, Dr. V. S. Kanchana Bhaaskaran. Special thanks to the faculty mentors—Dr. V. Arunachalam, Dr. Sivanantham S, and Dr. Sudipto Kumar Sarkar—for guiding our students toward excellence!
