Team Vyadh, founded in 2015 under SEDS-VIT Projects at VIT Vellore, is a 30+ member student team dedicated to developing advanced Mars rover prototypes. Specializing in robotic manipulation, autonomous navigation, and communication systems, we are structured into key technical and administrative divisions for seamless project execution.
They have excelled in global competitions like CanSAT, ERC, IRC, IRDC, and ARC, securing Rank 2 in CanSAT 2017 and ERC 2018 (Asia). Our recent achievements include 13th in IRC 2025 and a top 5 finish in IRDC 2025, reinforcing our status as a leading team in space robotics.
Team Ardra, the autonomous drone team of SEDS VIT Projects, is a group of technically enthusiastic students working together to design and create Unmanned Aerial Vehicles specifically for Mars, Moon and other extraterrestrial atmospheres, that are built tough and work smart.
The team was established in 2014 with an aim to develop autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles capable of performing search and rescue tasks and also deliver payloads for commercial use.
Their achievements include 1st Position Globally at ISDC ’24, 3rd position in IPAS ’19. The team continues to thrive with its skilled and dedicated workforce, embodying its founding principle of exploration and innovation.
