Battery Safety Awareness workshop is designed to enhance the understanding of battery fundamentals and EV battery technologies. Participants will ain insights into the risks associated with batteries, such as overheating, short-circuiting, and thermal runaway. Also, will learn best practices or battery handling and maintenance. The workshop will cover essential battery safety standards and regulations, ensuring that attendees are familiar with the guidelines that govern battery usage and transportation. Additionally, the program will address emergency response and incident management, equipping participants with the knowledge to handle battery-related incidents effectively. A focus on battery recycling and disposal will also be included, promoting sustainable practices. The workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from battery manufacturers and researchers working on EV batteries, with demonstrations to reinforce the concepts discussed.
