Facilities

The Interactive Virtual Anatomy and Physiology Lab at SHINE offers an advanced, immersive learning environment designed to deepen students’ understanding of human anatomy and physiology. This state-of-the-art facility features a digital dissection table with a virtual cadaver, allowing students to explore the human body in a highly interactive and detailed manner. Through the use of VR/AR headsets, students can visualize and interact with the human body in 3D, enhancing their comprehension of complex anatomical structures.

Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the lab includes motion tracking suits, EEG, EMG, and ECG systems for studying human movement, brain activity, muscle response, and heart function. Additionally, the lab features nerve conduction equipment and an ultrasound machine, providing hands-on experience with diagnostic tools used in healthcare.

Students can also utilize licensed 3D Segmenter software to segment anatomical structures from MRI and CT images for in-depth analysis. The facility includes a 3D printer to print anatomical models, offering students the opportunity to create tangible representations of the human body for research and educational purposes.

This comprehensive lab integrates advanced technologies and practical learning tools, ensuring students gain a thorough, interactive education in healthcare and medical technology.
