As a part of our commitment to bridge the gap between academia & industry, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with global automobile giant Volvo India to enhance automotive education in the country.

The collaboration will see the introduction of a specialised credit course within our flagship M.Tech program, designed to equip students with the latest automotive industry technologies.

Hon. Chancellor Dr. G. Viswanathan and Mr. Kamal Bali, President & MD, Volvo Group India signed the historic MoU. Other delegates who attended include our Vice-Presidents Mr. Sankar Viswanathan, Dr. G.V. Selvam, Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Partha Sharathi Mallick, Registrar Dr. T. Jayabarathi, Mr. T.P Ranjith – Head, Talent Acquisition India, Volvo Group besides the academic heads of VIT.
