AI-Driven Adaptive Fast Charging for Electric Vehicles
Discover opportunities for growth and learning.
Empowering Students Through Technical Excellence and Professional Growth
This project aims to develop innovative electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions for sustainable transportation. The activities involve a research partnership between academics in the UK and India and industry partners (Priva Technologies, eApta Dynamics, and startup Warar Energy) to design a new fast EV charger compatible with existing AC chargers. Smart features will be added for remote monitoring, scheduling, and payment to improve convenience. An educational curriculum on EV battery charging will also be created to enhance student skills. Together, these activities will help accelerate EV adoption by improving charging speeds, flexibility, and availability through technological innovation and training the next generation of engineers in this growing field. The project takes a multi-disciplinary approach to tackle EV charging challenges through both technical and educational initiatives for more eco-friendly transportation. By implementing this smart charger, clean energy can promote sustainable transportation for all.
- Develop an AI-driven fast EV charger compatible with existing AC chargers
