VIT and C-DAC Partner to Advance Research in Embedded Systems, VLSI, and Cyber Forensics
VIT has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Thiruvananthapuram. This strategic partnership aims to foster collaboration in cutting-edge fields like Embedded Systems, VLSI Design, Cyber Forensics, and Information Security.
Cmde Sandeep Wadhwa (Retd.), Executive Director, C-DAC Thrivananthapuram and VIT Chancellor Dr. G. Viswanathan signed the MoU. The MoU exchange was held in the presence of Dr. Sandhya Pentareddy, Executive Director, VIT; Mr. Vinukumar A. R., Scientist G, C-DAC(T); Mr. Hiron Bose, Scientist F, C-DAC(T); Dr. Daphne Lopez, Dean – School of Computer Science Engineering and Information Systems (SCORE), Dr. Gitanjali J., Assistant Director – International Relations and faculty members from SCORE.
Through this MoU, our students and faculty will benefit from:
- Expert lectures and specialised training from C-DAC scientists.
- Joint R&D projects and industrial visits.
- Hands-on project guidance for B.Tech. and M.Tech. students.
Together, we are committed to building a future-ready workforce and driving innovation in ICT technologies.
