VIT Signs MoU with Hexaware Technologies to Boost Tech Talent and Industry-Readiness
VIT has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hexaware Technologies Limited to establish a strategic Campus Connect collaboration aimed at enhancing student employability and industry-readiness.
The agreement was exchanged by Dr. G. Viswanathan, Founder & Chancellor, VIT and Mr. Krishna Balagurunathan, Assistant Vice President – Campus Head, Hexaware, in the presence of VIT Vice President Dr. Sekar Viswanathan, Executive Director Dr. Sandhya Pentareddy, Vice Chancellor Dr. Kanchana Bhaaskaran, Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Partha Sharathi Mallick, Director – Career Development Centre (CDC) Dr. Samuel Rajkumar, Deputy Director – CDC Dr. Ramanathan K., Assistant Directors – CDC Dr. Jayakrishnan P. and & Dr. Gaurav Sushant.
Key Initiatives under the MoU:
🔸 Center of Excellence (CoE): Establishment of an exclusive CoE on campus under Hexaware’s guidance for advanced technical training.
🔸 Pre-Placement Pathways: Focused training and recruitment pathways for 3rd-year students targeting Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) and Premier GET (PGET) roles.
🔸 Faculty Upskilling: A dedicated Trainer Certification Program enabling VIT faculty to deliver Hexaware-designed course modules.
🔸 Internships & Practical Training: 8th-semester internship opportunities via Hexaware premises or the on-campus Hexaware Lab.
This collaboration reinforces VIT’s commitment to providing world-class training aligned with global tech industry demands.
