VIT Vellore and Ministry of Youth Affairs Host International Panel for Seminar on AI-Driven Student Excellence
The International Seminar on “Digital Dreamscapes: Youth Navigating AI, Creativity & Virtual Expression” is officially underway at VIT Vellore. Organised by the Office of International Relations, in collaboration with the Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India, this seminar marks a significant step toward bridging the gap between emerging technology and student excellence
The ceremony was graced by an esteemed panel of international dignitaries:
- Chief Guest: Prof. Ranganathan J., Honorary Consul of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chennai, India.
- Guests of Honour: Dr. Philip Ross Hull, Director – International Student Services, University of Central Missouri, USA; Prof. Rajagopal Gururajan, Professor of Information Systems, University of Southern Queensland, Australia; and Dr. Raj Srinivasan, Associate Professor, Mathematics & Statistics, University of Saskatchewan, Canada
Joining them on stage were our Vice President Dr. Sankar Viswanathan and Vice Chancellor Dr. Kanchana Bhaaskaran, Director – International Relations (IR) Dr. R. Seenivasan and Deputy Director – IR Dr. Naga Venkata Raghuram J.
Over the next two days, students will dive into keynote sessions, round table discussions, and paper presentations designed to explore how AI can enhance the academic and creative experience.
