Green hydrogen and fuel cell technologies are essential for sustainable energy transition, enabling the effective use of solar PV power for clean hydrogen generation and storage. Integrating solar-driven electrolysis with fuel cells supports decarbonization, energy security, and smart energy systems. VIT, a premier institution with over 40,000 students, has developed advanced solar PV and green hydrogen– focused research infrastructure, continuously upgraded to meet growing energy demands sustainably. This workshop provides a concise overview of solar PV–electrolyzer integration, green hydrogen production, storage, and fuel cell power systems, supported by field visits and practical exposure. Participants gain essential technical knowledge and hands-on insights for careers in green hydrogen, renewable energy, and fuel cell technologies.
